The Bonds of Family By Aadhya Banerjee  My grandfather's wisdom guides us still, With tales of old and love that's true to fill. He was a teacher, patient and bright, Guiding us with expertise and light. Grandma manages all with a gentle touch, Creating memories with love so much. Her meals with magic hands, a love so true, She knits our family together like a glue. My papa, a government officer, with duties' call, Works for progress, never standing small. A role model true, every single day, Inspiring me on life's journey's way. My mum understands me very well, A heart that listens, stories to tell. With empathy and love she guides the way, A support so strong, every single day. The love that my family shares, Is truly beyond compare! 😊

Twilight Whispers (Poetry by Aadhya Banerjee)

Day breaks with a gentle wind, With a chirping so kind. A slight touch of rain, That I could not explain. Waves of the sea, My face fills with glee. The beautiful night, With a pretty moonlight. A beauty that’s beyond compare, Feeling my heart with nature’s care. - Aadhya Banerjee

Poetry by Aadhya Banerjee (Poem 5) - 'The Listener'

Image
The Listener By Aadhya Banerjee  Listen with heart, and soul so bright, Glisten with empathy, day and night. Dress your ears with love's gentle touch, And let the words pour in, without a clutch. Don't speak, just absorb and understand, Be strong, yet gentle, like a helping hand. The light of listening brings new birth, Hope and joy that touch the heart's earth. When words are spoken, and blessings rare, Listening with love shows we truly care. In the light of compassion, our spirits soar, A beautiful world, where love forever more.

Whenever I try to smell a rose, I feel a kind of allergy in nose.  Whenever I sit on a chair, Strong wind blows my hair.  Whenever I try to sleep in my bed, Over thinking comes in my head.  Sometimes I see a colourful dream  That I ride a mountain of cream.  Whenever I get afraid,  My ears get red. When my mother bits my arm,  I feel no more harm. When I want to be a writer, My writing skill says, "use your finger". Whenever I cut my nails, I remember my incoming mails.  Whenever I write this with my heart,  My brain thinks I am getting smart.

My Best Friend  I wear my best friend on my eye ! When I cry, I keep him aside. He is my most helpful friend. I have to do a check up of him. There are many colours, mine is red. He helps me to see. It becomes foggy sometimes. Yup ! my glasses are my best friend. I gave him a name - "Sissy" ! I love him so much. Sometimes, I have to adjust him. I can't live without him. He helps me every time; When I am tired, when I am happy. He is neither a Teddy nor a boy, He is my dear spectacles. - Aadhya Banerjee
